      Top 5 reasons why personal training may be exactly what you need to get in shape once and for all!

      1) You Lack Motivation

      We recently surveyed our personal training clients and over 90% of them said that they #1 reason they choose to work with a trainer was for motivation.  We don't have to look too far to find information about how to exercise, what exercised to do etc. It's getting to the gym and making yourself do those exercises on a consistent basis that is the problem.  Making an appointment and showing up on a consistent basis helps you stay on track.  Our trainers are available for 1 - 4 times a week training programs.

      2) You Workout, but Still Look the Same

      You have been working out on your own for several months, or maybe even years without getting results.  You do the exercise routine you found online or in a magazine that promised you would loose 10 pounds in a month, but it hasn't worked.  Most people need to work out much harder than they think in order to loose weight.  I have rarely seen a exercise routine in a fitness magazine that it intense enough to promote weight loss.  Physically speaking, after 3-5 weeks doing the same workout your body has adapted and you will no longer continue to see results. 

      Our trainers are experts and can use the physical cues of your body to assess what level you need in order to inspire fat loss.

      3)  You Have Injuries, Aches & Pains that Inhibit You

      Maybe that old football or baseball injury prevents you from grabbing the dumbells on a regular basis.  Or maybe your knees don't feel like they once did.  Many people struggle with injuries or limitations of some sort.  When people tell me that they can't complete a personal training session because they have a bum shoulder or knee, I want to scream "That's exactly why you should see a trainer".  I have seen way to many people try on there own, get injured again, and end up never reaching their goals. 

      Trainers are very familiar with limitations and will design a program with your comfort and abilities in mind. My motto is "You are more than your knees or your shoulder, you have a whole rest of the body that needs exercise too".  Our trainers can often design a program that will actually improve strength and mobility for you.

      4) You Haven't Worked Out Since High School

      Yikes!  How the years creep or leap by.  You may think that you know what you need to do because you still remember the old football work out you did.  You may think that simply moving more is the answer.  These are errors that I see people make all the time.  For starters, science has changed a lot since high school.  We know a lot more about our anatomy now that ever.  Current research and exercise recommendations are always changing. 

      Our trainers are certified and are "in the know" on all the latest research.  Things that we once thought as sound, could actually lead to injuries which will only set you back from reaching your weight loss goals.

      We also know that medical guidelines for good health suggest that adults complete moderate exercise for 30 minutes a day. This is for "health", not for actual weight loss - there is a difference.  As I stated earlier our trainers can assess how hard you need to work in order to loss weight without - dying of exhaustion or course!

      5) You Have a Deadline, or Aggressive Goal

      Maybe you were just approved for exercise after having a gastoric bypass, or maybe you are getting married in 6 months.  A trainer is what you need in order to maximize your time and achieve your goals quicker than you could on your own. Why, because they honestly care more about your goals than you do. How can that be? Because they are not swayed when that pizza is calling your name, they don't care that you had a stressful day at the office and what that pint of ice cream. They will not let you fail...it's there job and it's why I personall choose them to be a part of the Anytime team!
