Emily Graham
I’ve always wanted to save the world. Most people who have known me know this (and some poke a little fun, too). After focusing the majority of my last six years working for different political and non-profit organizations in the U.S. and abroad, I finally decided it was time to come back home. I was tired of thinking about everything that is wrong with the world; I needed some positivity!
After so much time giving my time to others, I realized that I had seriously neglected myself and my own health. I was a far cry from the athlete and power lifter I once had been: out of shape, unhappy, and sluggish. I realized that if I wanted to change the world, I would need to start with myself. I joined a local fitness center and before I knew it, I was working for them.
I began to work with a trainer who pushed me over the edge. My confidence skyrocketed and I began to accomplish things I never thought I could. Fitness became the center point of my life; I was addicted and I desperately wanted others to feel the same things I did.
I became a personal trainer and boot camp instructor because I’ve been on both sides of the fence, and the grass really is greener on this one. I want to push others past the point of what they thought was possible for them. This life really can be as great as you dream it to be.
I still want to change the world. Let me start with you!
